PNW Moths
Pacific Northwest Moths is a comprehensive source of information about more than 1,200 species of moths.
Drawing from the knowledge of moth experts and specimen records from the region’s major insect collections, this site features detailed species accounts, high resolution photographs, and an interactive identification key for every Pacific Northwest moth species within the families Drepanidae, Uraniidae, Lasiocampidae, Saturniidae, Sphingidae, Notodontidae, Erebidae, Euteliidae, Nolidae, and Noctuidae.

PNWMoths: Refreshed and Improved
Welcome to the new version of PNWMoths! Thanks to the hard work of Peter Abrahamsen and Jason Williams, this new version of the site has enhancements to core functions of the original site as well as helpful new features. Site upgrades include:

- Improved image viewing experience
- New site-wide search function
- New interactive identification tools
In addition, the new site structure will simplify future refinements such as adding new images and records and integrating taxonomic changes. We hope these changes ensure that PNWMoths continues to be a valuable resource for exploring the remarkable moth diversity of the Pacific Northwest.
